Like many other newbie tumblrs, I was unaware of the limitations of secondary blogs when I set this one up. So, I’ve migrated all of my content to a new primary blog, and will only be posting there moving forward.

Gel at 7 miles.
This was supposed to be a 13.1 run, but my brain was not functioning properly due to three too many beers and three too few hours of sleep on Saturday night. When I set out, I wasn’t sure I’d make it more than a couple of miles. Felt bleh through mile 5 or so, but muscled through and had a pretty good run overall… until I turned out of the park earlier than I was supposed to, simply because I forgot that was was supposed to go to the far exit.
Ah, well. If I had kept up my last mile pace for another .5 mile (which I could have), I would have finished the half in 1:53 flat. Good stuff for a mildly hangoverish run.

Nice and slow fbo the right hamstring, which is still iffy after four days of (grad school induced) rest.
